Roof tiles

We have a bay window. The contractor has left the plastic waterproof barrier exposed and has not continued the tile to the corner of the bay roof. He says it isn't done. Is this true?

Here is the plastic material that hangs off two bays. I think they are not terribly attractive. Can't they be covered?

Here is the other bay

Should there be this gap here or is this shoddy work? I still owe him final payment. Thank you.

Finally, we just noticed that he added a metal piece (white) in this corner. Is this correct? It looks awful. Thanks again!

Are you sure it is not flashing?

I don't know. I know I could have had a more expensive copper roof overhang and this would have obviated many of these questions. Not knowing anything about construction, I am only going by aesthetics. He could have done just the right thing functionally and I may need to add something at my own cost if I don't like the way it looks. So, I am asking those more expert than I.
