We�re having a covered porch roof finished off. They�re using vinyl siding on the sides and vinyl soffit for the ceiling. They used the J molding on the ceiling as the ceiling area was 15x20, thus required a seem. They are also wrapping / cladding the fascia and rakes in aluminum. The attached picture shows how they have wrapped the facia (or what I�m all the facia) around over the j molding of the ceiling. To me, this doesn�t look right. I don�t like how the aluminum bends over and around the J molding. Is this okay, or should they have cut around the J molding? Or should they have used J molding to �frame out� the ceiling soffit and then bend the aluminum cladding underneath the J molding?
