| You could use stucco mould for the casing that trims the door jamb. You can get it in detailed wood form similar to most door casings. You will have to fill the voids between the jamb and your trimmer/jack studs,( i'm assuming your term as "bucks"). I would suggest low expanding foam to fill those voids. Foam them up and let cure, smooth off the excess so that it is flush with the trimmer/jacks and the jamb. I'm also assuming where you state "stucco both sides" to mean back to the original adobe, (or the use of adobe). Similar to stucco, you will need some underlayment such as felt plus some rib lath metal to give the mud something to grab on to. Work up with several coats letting each coat dry and feather it back into the existing adobe on the walls. |
