Frameless shower door question

| I just installed three frameless shower doors. The gap between the doors and fixed panels is more than 1/2" with a flexible plastic strip that keeps the water from leaking. Is this a normal size gap? I was very surprised. Do others have gaps this large in their frameless showers? |

| I just had frameless shower doors done in my guest house, they had to come back twice to refit the door. I don't have a plastic strip and I don't get water leaking. 1/2 inch seems excessive. I don't think I'd go for that! |
