I've been selling or fabricating stone for 12 years. We torture tested dozens of brands of sealer side by side. There's only one that has exceeded all our expectations, and that's the lifetime sealer from Surface Treatment Technologies. My own mother purchased a stone that's known for staining if it's not cleaned up every night. Prior to STT we would recommend 6 coats of sealer on this nightmare product (and know that wasn't even enough). The STT sealing system involves two types of product (one sinks in deep, and the other only for top 2 millimeters). Mom's c-top has been in for over a year, and is behaving just like the torture tested samples from years ago. GREAT PRODUCT !

So is this the sealer you are using to offer a 20 year warranty?

Does anyone know what type of sealer is needed for ubatuba granite? Is it poruous or not. Can these sealers by done by the homeowner each year?
