Cant see from the pic...what color is your roof?

You might want to go to houzz.com and search on exterior brick to get some ideas there. For instance, this is a lovely color combo, but note how the roof color blends in.

We just got a darker gray/blue siding on our home, but we have no brick. One thing we insisted upon was the 7" single siding pieces, as the wider siding is what "belongs" on our ranch style house. It also looks better without 2 or 3 rows with seams together imo. This was Mastic Structure 7" single siding in English Wedgewood. I took a piece of sample siding and had it color matched, and painted the foundation and garage doors before they came to do the siding so it would be completed before they put up the new trim work.

There is a dreamhome visualizer where you can play with their siding colors (see link below). Other companies have similar colors too. You can also go to the Sherwin Williams paint site and play with color on an image of your actual house. It's called the SW Color Visualizer, it really works well.

I'm feeling more of the brown family to go with the red brick? Maybe a brownish red even? Try a color visualizer and see what you think. That's how I chose my siding color.

This was my "before" photo shop picture I used to pick a color. It helped me decide much easier to "see" it first. I tried every color I could think of before settling on this one. The final vinyl siding color ended up looking about like I thought it would, doing all this prep work really took the stress out of choosing a color. I ended up choosing a slightly bluer color, but had a pretty good idea it would look just fine.
