Hello,

We have a brand new house that was built with Queen's post truss construction for the roof support. I would like to be able to convert part or all of the attic space to livable space. I know this is fairly uncommon in the US, however it is done all the time in the UK, so I'm wondering if anyone has seen it done here?

Before anyone points out that an engineer must be consulted, yes I do know that, I was just hoping for someone to have an example of a process they have gone through, before I go and try and get an engineer involved.
