| Does anyone ever frame interior walls with anything other than wood? If so, what might be used?
Just a stoopid newb question, 'cause I was wondering if anyone ever built walls that could be easily dismantled... |

| Walls that are easily dismantled are called screens or dividers. As Casey said---steel studs are often used for non load bearing walls. In my locality, steel studs are required bfor commercial building/framing. However, a wall framed with wood studs is much easier to dismantle than one with steel studs. |
