| I just installed a 36" Thermador range and having trouble installing the outside vent cover. Does anyone know if it's absolutely necessary to attach the vent to a box which would than be attached to the house. I prefer to attach the cover to be flush with the wall of the house but my contractor is insisting it needs to be build out onto a box.
I would appreciate any help if you have experience with this. Thanks |

| Here's an answer you may not like - it depends. Is this one of the Thermador downdraft vents? Is the blower integral or remote? Check the link below and see if it helps answer your question. |
