Seams on Quartzite counters

We found a beautiful stone called Honed Antarctica Quartzite. The job is small only 113 inches long by a standard depth. We went to the shop and mapped out the cutout for the sink, the slab was easily large enough to accommodate the counter length. However when the counter arrived the stone had been cut vertically first then horizontally leaving us with an unnecessary seam at the sink and on the back-splash. Has any one had a counter of this length made from Quartzite that did not require a seam?
