I keep reading about people getting inspiration from Kitchen remodel pictures - is there a place on the site where all the new kitchen pictures live to view for inspiration. I am about to embark on a total kitchen remodel and am looking for a pictures of painted cabinets but not white or cream - more like greige (gray/beige mixture) or something similiar and soapstone countertops - maybe....

Definitely start by looking on houzz.com, if you have not already. Try searching on soapstone, you'll be amazed what pops up!

I agree with phylhl, look on houzz. I saved about 600 pictures on my ipad of kitchens I liked. I also found a couple of DIY blogs that showed b&a pictures of their kitchen remodels. That's what inspired me. Enough so that I too started a blog about my journey. I don't know what your kitchen looks like but I have a small, builder grade kitchen in a cookie cutter neighborheed. I couldn't afford new cabinets so I painted my oak cabinets. I put in granite and new appliances. Overall, I love my kitchen. It's very rewarding each time I see it. My cabinets are painted BM's 1550- cumulus cloud which is a grayish color. I didn't want white and I can't pull off dark. Good luck!!!!!!

There is a blog where the completed kitchens from the GardenWeb Kitchens board have been captured. It was to migrate to a new format, but I'm not sure of the status of that. So if you're wanting to see the end results of those who frequent the GW Kitchens forum, it's the place to look:
