How would you finish this?

I have installed chair rail and picture moulding in my foyer and up the stairs, but I have a problem where the chair rail meets the stringer and I don't know how to finish it. As you can see in the pictures, my stringer is beveled so the chair rail cannot just butt up to it. Can anyone give me some idea of what to do? Please include a picture closeup if you can. I am a visual learner! Thank you so much for any help
