New kitchen - cabinet handles touch wall

I upgraded a kitchen for a client using Kraftmaid cabinetry w/ partial overlay doors (standard stuff). The design layout was done through Home Depot with the client directly.

Now there are a couple issues with door knobs hitting adjacent walls and the blind cabinet door on an inside corner. The hinges open 110 degree (standard), doors partial overlay (1/2"), and filler strips were used as appropriate at the end of the run and for the inside corner's abutting cabinet, as well as installing the blind cab with the door away from the corner as much as possible. Did I or the designer miss something with this job?

Also, to keep those door knobs from hitting, is there a better solution that installing some sort of chain stop, which seems gimmicky for new cabs? Is it customary for an installer to have extra 105 or 100 degree hinges on hand to rectify this sort of thing? Is it too much to ask for Kraftmaid to offer appropriate hinges to solve this? Must happen more than often. Why offer blind cabinets if you can't put a basic knob on the door without it hitting the adjoining cabinet?

Thanks much.
