should i paint all my trim & doors?? help pls (pics)

Hello,

I recently updated my kitchen by painting the oak cabinets. Now that the kitchen is done, I can't help but dream about white or something close for my trim and doors.

Would you paint the trim and doors?

If so, what do you recommend? I used CabinetCoat and BM's Advanced paint on my kitchen cabinets and both worked great.

Can I paint my doors (they are hollow)? Is sanding required? Do they have to be removed to paint?

Also, I dont think I'd paint the staircase or french doors off the front door.

Suggestions?? Thank you!!!

We plan on replacing the carpet with hardwood in the near future...

The French doors are awfully pretty as they are but the rest of it? Hmmmm. Ask the decorating forum! It's right up their alley.

You have a major aesthetic decision to make. Should all of the trim be painted or remain natural wood tone? What you don't want to do is mix them (painted door jamb/head trim with natural wood base along the walls). If this seems daunting, just consider it one room at a time. Good luck.
