I am remodeling an apartment that we just purchased and there is nice marble (botticino, beige color) in most of the place. However, we have to rip out the flooring in the kitchen, the balconies and bathrooms. Any recommendations for what to put in the new space? I would love to put the same marble, but everything i have heard says not to do that because it will not match and will look like patch work. Others have told me to go with porcelain wood tiles but I'm nervous that they will look fake and will ruin the feel of the apartment. Anyone have experiences with this or with any of the materials I mentioned? Thanks!
