Or just set them on the curb. They'll be gone in no time.

Check your electric utility web site and see if they will give you $25 to haul them away. They have to work and I think it might be only refrigerators and freezers but check their web site and see what the critera is.

Craigslist is a good place to sell used appliances. I just got an offer from my utility company in the mail. They'll pay me $50 to haul away an old refrigerator.

CL usually has people posting that they'll haul away your old appliances for free. But you could probably sell them for a bit of cash too.
