Is this a good price quote? Or should I be worried?

I am currently in the middle of preparations to remodel my house in Queens, NY. This includes:

- Basement: laminate flooring replaced with tiles (about ~700 sq ft).

- Kitchen: Breaking down a wall to make a dining counter. Extending a wall. Installing new cabinets and countertop. Redoing the floor tiles.

- 3 bathrooms: remove old wall tiles and replace them with new ones, replace flooring. Install new vanity/mirrors, appliances.

- Flooring: refinishing hardwood floors (my house is ~1500 sq ft)

- Painting all rooms.

- Replacing all door moldings.

After a million guys coming into our house for estimates, one guy gave us a price--around $35K for all of the above, for labor only. We just have to supply the materials. For reference, he told us the cost of the basement only would be $5,600 for labor only.

Now, this is my first major remodeling job. I'm not sure if this is a realistic price quote? It almost seems too good to be true. Maybe it's cheaper because I'm not messing around with the plumbing? Not quite sure. Would love some input from the more experienced. Thanks a lot.
