Seam location in granite counter thoughts

First timer posting here. We're in the process of layout our counter top template on a slab of Peacock granite. The counter is an L configuration and will require a seam. I curious for opinions regarding where to have the seam and what people like or dislike about their choice. The fabricator has given us two choices for where we'd like the seam, either in the middle of the undermount sink (we have an East facing window above it) or around the corner on the other leg of the L. In the middle of the sink is obviously the smallest seam being just in front and just behind the sink and possibly but not necessarily more noticable. The other location (around the corner of the L) will be just barely left of a main food prep area but can be an even tighter seam since he can use his best equipment there. The fabricator has given us good information about pros and cons of both locations but we only get to cut once. Peacock is a dark granite with no real "grain" or direction and we do have under cabinet lighting. Any thoughts or pictures are appreciated.
