Stucco color

I'm in the midst of a patio/deck remodel. The walls around the patio are going to be covered in stucco. My house also is stucco and I'll be trying to match the color. I don't know much about stucco - does it dry darker or lighter than the sample (I'm thinking of picking paint color)? Or does it stay pretty true to the color of the sample?

Hi, Big box store can,t help you. Check the phone book and find building supply that specializes in masonary.
Supplies house like that can mix your stucco to match the sample you bring in. It however is not 100%. You might want to think about putting on a color that will look good with the stucco you have. Like 2 tone. Lots of buildings in S CA. are like that.
