Can't afford Marvin door hardware...

I'm doing a garage conversion and I have 2 sets of Marvin outswing french doors with no hardware. I've found out how much it costs ($1,700.00 per set,) and I can't afford it. Does anyone know if it's possible to fill the mortise cavities with something and just get surface mount hardware? Or any other ideas?

$1700, for the hardware? What is missing, what do you currently have there? These doors are generally multipoint, is this all missing?
