How do I ask the Pro to revalidate the estimate?

A contractor estimated my home remodeling project about a half year ago. The estimate was good for 30 days. Now I have money and want to have my home remodeling project finished. How do I ask the Pro to revalidate the estimate, just change the date or what else? Thank you for your answer.

Call him. Tell him your ready. Ask what you need to do to get started.

Unless you changed the scope of work, the previous quote should still be relevant.

You call or write, say you would are finally ready to move forward, and ask if the estimate is still valid...and about their interest in the project, availability, etc. (Don't be surprised if the estimate has to be revisited, since material costs will likely have changed.)
