Critique my small apartment remodel plan!

Hey guys!

I just bought my first place, a 2 bedroom apartment in San Francisco. I am planning on remodeling over the next couple of years, and have been working on a master plan.

I would for you guys to critique my plan before it gets underway! Please make suggestions on how I could do this better ;).

BTW, the apartment is the top half of a two unit house. There's a street out front and a garden in the back. There are houses wall to wall on either side.

I like! As far as doing it better. Im not sure if there is a better way. I like the idea of taking out the door ways and opening the living rm up. Good luck.
