Filling in Hot Tub Hole What Type of Gravel

Hi,
Okay see attached photo. We are filling in the hole with gravel and than going to add a layer of concrete cement on top. My question is what kind of gravel should we use? Pea Gravel or 3/4 minus? Or any other suggestions?
