Have four in present house---all so quiet the wind is often the only clue they are running.

Posting to say good things about the Modern Fan Company. We had one of their fans installed in our master bedroom last summer and have recently added two more, with lights, to two more bedrooms. They're hugger style fans and don't take up a lot of visual space in our home with 8 foot ceilings. They're really quiet and move a lot of air. I was worried that the lights wouldn't suffice for these bedrooms, but other than for reading, the lighting is quite adequate (the larger of the two bedrooms is about 12x14).

They are nowhere near the least expensive fans on the market, but we feel great about the purchase, planning to stay in the house for the next twenty years.
