What kind of Jeldwen Doors, need more info as they make many different types of door?

Be Vewy Vwey careful! If your installer is a good craftsman and is willing to take up any slack in your purchase you MIGHT be OK. If you are looking for a nice, easily installed finished product with a minimum of fuss, NO!

I recently contacted some of the reputable companies here. They have good (maybe great) products but were quoting $3800-$5500. No way that's happening. Can you or anyone else reading this give me further recommendations. These Jeld-Wens are about $300 - appealing price, but ............

That 300 would be for a wood slab only more than likely. For which you would still need to purchase a frame and have it installed. Now having a frame made should not be an issue but depending on the door and how your having it installed it may not be the correct application and may not be the least expensive or best way to approach your issue. That is why i asked what type of door it was for 300

Millworkman, the doors are fiberglass clad, both sides. Still don't know more cuz the seller is still out of town. Will share your notes with my neighbor/handyman who will better understand. And I'll go with him in his big truck to look at them. Followup as soon as I can see them. Thanks, Rosie
