We are in the process of trying to sell our house. Everything about it is lovely and perfect for this market. The garage, however, is ugly as sin. It's just a big cinderblock building. There are lots of big windows and inside it's plumbed and with electricity. It's solidly built, so besides the fact that it's hideous, it's a nice asset to the house.

Things like brick veneer or stucco are just too pricey to justify while we're trying to sell. We've thought about painting, but I don't know if that will help much. Or will it? Has anyone had any success with a cinderblock makeover?
