A covered entry might be nice. I forgot what they're called--just the little peak above the doors with little corbels supporting it. It looks off over the door, like it needs something.

I don't think it really needs that much more than serious landscaping. Do you want it to look more residential or business-like? You could doll it up like a fairytale cottage but that might be weird if it's a mortuary.

I think it could just use a full length window box under the sliding window, two small urns (with seasonal plants) on the concrete/masonry caps towards the sidewalk, and larger light fixtures on either side of the door.

The wrought-iron railings seem a bit dated - replace them with something beefier?

Ditto on the covered porch, but I would get rid of the steps and railing and put a full length covered porch with nicer steps and flower boxes on the porch railings instead of the window. Love the idea about urns and larger fixtures.

Ditto on the landscaping. Get rid of the rocks and make a cleaner edge. Clean up the plants and add some color with flowers.

Yellow on a house looks hot. You probably get a lot of heat in that front window.
