I posted on flooring forum but thought I might get better response. I am looking to replace carpet in 3 bedrooms. I have been to Lowes which sales Dupont Sorna at a very reasonable price. When I went to several carpet stores they showed me SmartStrand which was affordable (not much more/similiar to Lowes). What I finally noticed was that they were showing me the Signature Series that is not Dupont Sorona. The question I have is if anyone has the two and if you see a major difference? I know the warranities are different. I know everyone says stay away from Lowes but if they are the ones offering a better product that I can afford I might have to use them. I know several individuals who own apartments who have had no problem with Lowes. I however really want to use carpet company because he was giving me a good deal on Shaw Nylon Berber for stairs if I do stairs/rooms at same time.
