Help!!! Running out of time.....

We are in the process of remodeling and I'm not sure what do do with the arch over my cooktop. We removed the microwave that was above the cooktop and would like to replace it with a vent hood. Since it has a curve at the top, i'm not sure if a square vent hood wood fit exactly. The arch is made of sheetrock. I would change the arch but it is the only thing in the kitchen my husband would like to keep so that is not an option. I would post a picture but not sure how. Email me for a picture. This is my first time to post on gardenweb. Any suggestions please!!!

I suggest you ask this question on the kitchen forum, too. There is more traffic over there, so if you need a quick answer...sorry I can't help you more with your question. Best of luck with the new hood :)
