Hickory Flooring

We're thinking of purchasing Dansk Jamaica Collection Hickory Engineered Hardwood flooring and we're wondering if anyone has installed this product. If you have, would you please post photos? We're trying to decide if we can live with the "busyness" of the random light & dark boards; we really like the hardness of this particular wood, though. Thanks.

We are looking at this also. Did you purchase it?

RE: Hickory Flooring

I have hickory kitchen cabinets and I love them, but they're a dark solid color with an occasional streak of lighter wood mixed in.
I'm one that finds the heavy mix of dark and light woods to be to busy for most homes and I can see how it may interfere with certain styles of decor. If you're questioning yourself already, then I'd say to continue viewing photos of homes that have the hickory flooring before committing.

RE: Hickory Flooring

Maple and oak are also very hard woods if you're concerned about the color of hickory.
