options in instead of a vinyl slider....

So I'm doing a significant room addition/remodel, part of which is replacing all of my windows. Installing Milgard Styline windows because I like the slim profile but I don't like the Styline Slider.
I have attached a picture of a location of the slider, it will be very visible from the entry and we can make it up to 10'x8'
Any other suggestions for what to put there? I need to order the windows ASAP and am considering ordering without the slider. Ideally I would put a bi-fold door but the cost is too much. The Milgard slider is costing me approx. $700
Any ideas??
