Milgard Essence

Anyone have experience with the Milgard Essence windows? We are looking to put them throughout our home. (It's hard to find any information on them since they seem to be newer).

Are you getting double hungs? We have Milgard double hungs (not Essence), and although they seem like a good window, I hate the fact that there is no lip on the bottom to lift the window. I'm very short, and have to use a stool to reach the latch to push the window up. Very annoying. We have oriel style windows, and the bottom window is twice as long as the top so makes opening and closing a real issue for me. Would not buy this window again only for this reason.
