I loved the online pictures of this hardwood oak flooring and thought they would work well with a 50s farmhouse. But a sample I checked out in store seemed to me to have no shine whatsoever, not even a little bit, looked almost like unfinished wood (and I am not going for a glossy look at all)...What has your experience been? Any photos of real life floors such as these? Not ready to give up as I'm having a hard time finding what I want in that price range.Many many thanks in advance
P.S. If someone has another recomendation for a cognac type color hardwood for the entire first floor of a farmhouse not very expensive I am all ears. My very first choice is Armstrong Virginia Smokehouse Hickory, but alas, not in the budget. Thank you again.
