Provia and HGI make very good door products. Millikin is a distributor not a manufacturer and appear to sell average at best products in exterior doors.

i can't find anything at all about the millikin millwork doors which is making me wary. but to get external grids in the pro via costs a ton and miliken has them for much less. but I don't want to buy a crappy door....

Does any have any suggestions between Provia Doors and HGI doors? Are they the same quality?

Would suggest adding series and type of door to your question and posting this in the window forum as the guys there use these doors all the time.

For the HGI, I am looking to do modify my front entry to install a 96" fiberglass door. The name of the door is Mohave. However, for the Provia door, I am looking to get the Signet Fiberglass "Crystal" door. The only difference I see is that the warranty on the finish is that Provia offers 7 years vs. 5 years for HGI. Both doors seems to be constructed the same but I'm not sure. Provia also indicates that they have a 3 pt lock system which runs around $1200.00 which is a requirement for 96" doors. Provia will not sell the door without installing this lock. For the HGI, they have a 2 pt. lock system. The biggest difference that I'm finding is that Provia is $7000 more expensive. The price mentioned is including installation.
