Flooring Upgrade

Hi,

I am in a dilemma. I am remodeling my home and putting in new hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets. I have a relatively small red brick home (1200 sq. ft) and I am trying to modernize it. I was originally planning to go with dark (ebony) eng. hardwood floors throughout the living/family room and two bedrooms with light gray and neutral walls throughout but I just found out the flooring supplier BARELY has enough material to cover my desired rooms, which doesn't have any waste % included. The other option is to have hardwood flooring in the living/family room and have carpet in the two bedrooms. Lastly, I can also pick another color wood flooring for my home. If you guys can weigh in and give me your opinions on what I should do, that would be greatly appreciated.

Option 1: Use ebony eng. hardwood throughout but run the risk of not having enough (http://floorus.com/images/HWME5MapleAntiqueEbony.jpg)

Option 2: Use ebony eng. hardwood in the living/family room and carpet in the bedrooms (http://floorus.com/images/HWME5MapleAntiqueEbony.jpg)

Option 3: Use a different color hardwood throughout
