Oh, you're talking the floors. Ewwwwww. I just want to know how they managed to get white brick floors clean enough for a photo shoot. The texture of brick grabs dirt and holds on to it. And white floors show every bit of dirt. If it actually is paint, there won't be any steam cleaning those floors as it will make the brick peel. That is such a typical "made for TV" 5 minute solution unleashed onto someone. There's zero thought behind how that will actually live in a real life home.

the bricks definitely weren't gray. the house was a Hays Town or a Hay's Town look alike which always has real red brown orange brick and lots of cypress wood throughout. they painted the floors, but i can't imagine how they did it. this designer wouldn't just slap on white paint. there has to be some sort of process so that it's durable.

I am thinking it might be white epoxy.

Some people can probably coexist quite well with white floors.

Then I'll have to say that you don't know that many designers! :P The vast majority that I went to school with and do business with on a daily basis do not have a clue as to the consequences of a design decision. They decide on doing something completely impractical just because it's pretty rather than the right choice. I'm redoing the bathroom of a victim of that right now. Her designer had her choosing a limestone shower and a super matte finish on the custom vanity. Neither one lasted 5 years without looking a hundred years old.

Designer world is often very very different than real world.

Mmmm....limestone. I wish it was practical. Those white floors are beautiful! I wouldn't have any kind of white floor in my house. I know my dirt level.
