My issue is the laundry area in the garage. Here in California most homes under a certain square footage seem to put the washer and dyers outside in the cold or very hot garage. I am tired of it. The laundry area in the garage is about 12.5 by 7.6. and shares a common wall with our guest bath, 9 by 7.6 foot. You would have to walk through the bathroom to get to the laundry, via a pocket door but that is the only way to bring the laundry indoors. Would this effect in a bad way, the resale value of our home and or would it look just awful? There is no other way to put a laundryroom inside. Even my hall closet, while wide enough is not deep enough to transform. Beside the fact that I wouldn't want to lose the closet space. Any bright ideas out there?
