| Here you go. Hope you enjoy, we love it! It is a recipe I got from an elderly farmer's wife many, many moons ago. Her name was Elaine. Elaine's Chile Sauce 11 Q basket of tomatoes Simmer the chopped veggies for 2 hours then drain off two cups of liquid. Add all remaining ingredients EXCEPT sugar and simmer slowly another 3 hours until thick. Add the sugar in the last hour of cooking.
