| I know this sounds strange but I plan to make a small amount of stuffing for a vegetarian friend and wonder if there is a way to make a gravy/sauce without using any meat drippings. I have organic vegetable broth and was thinking of browning some vegetables, adding some broth. Has anyone tried something like this?

| Another approach might be to make a simple white sauce flavored with a bit of thyme or poultry seasoning, finely minced flat leaf parsley and/or finely minced chives or bit of grated onion. Speak up if you need recipe for easy white sauce. |
