| I have grilled shrimp that was marinated in garlic evoo and lemon...I want to serve it over mixed greens but Im stumped on a dressing I was thinking of making a vinegarette with cocktail sauce in it...any recipe suggestions very helpful |

| I make a red dressing I use on spinach salad... 1/2 cup bottled chili sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1 glove crushed garlic Mix together and slowly whisk in.. 2/3 cup EVOO Add the juice of 1/2 a lemon and season to taste....I usually add some ground red chilis or some bottled hot sauce, to taste. | This dressing is delicious, with or without the pink grapefruit... but I love it this way:
SHRIMP SALAD WITH PINK GRAPEFRUIT Ingredient -- Preparation Method For dressing: Cook the shrimps as usual, peel them. Peel the To serve: put the lettuce leaves on the dish, adorn with the grapefruit and shrimp. Put the dressing on top and serve. | These are both good with shrimp. Ginger Dressing: ¼ cup white wine vinegar Blend all ingredients except oil in a food process; with machine running slowly add oil. Cover and refrigerate. Dressing: ½ cup extra virgin olive oil Whisk oil, vinegar, sugar, garlic, salt, pepper, dry mustard and onion powder until blended, cover and chill. If it chills overnight, the flavors are enhanced. |
