RECIPE: breakfast cookies

Breakfast Cookies

1 & 1/4 cups AP flour
2/3 c, sugar
1/2 c, granola
1/2 pound bacon, cooked srisp, drained & crumbled
1/2 c. soft margerine or butter
1 large egg
2 T. frozen orange juice concentrate, UNDILUTED
1 T. orange zest

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Lightly grease cookie sheet or use parchment paper

Slowly mix together the ingredients in the order given.
Stir until well blended.
Drop by level 2 T. 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown
Remove from the oven immediately to a wire rack to cool

Yield: 2 & 1/2 doz.

Thanks, Lizzy, these sound good - I've always wanted to try something like this - I bet they'd be good in the car and then we wouldn't have to stop for a Cinnabon or something when we leave early :)
