RECIPE: French toast (oven baked)

I used to have a recipe that you made up the night before for french toast. It seems like it was eggs/vanilla/milk and you put the texas toast style bread in it and put in the fridge until morning and then baked it.

Does anyone have a recipe like that to share with me? I sure would appreciate it.

Oven Baked French Toast

Recipe By :Laura Catania - Of Interest, May 1994

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 loaf French Bread -- sliced 1 1/2" thick
8 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
margarine -- softened
cinnamon

Arrange bread slices tightly in greased 9 x 13 pan. Combine eggs, vanilla, milk, sugar and salt in bowl. Mix well and pour over bread. Cover tightly, chill overnight. Drop small amounts of margarine on tops of bread. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon. Put in cold oven at 375F for 45 minutes. Serve with sugar and syrup.
