If you want an appetizer that is always a hit make these...I can't tell you the number of times I've made them and everyone raves about them and wants the recipe!

Balsamic Dressing

1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

2/3 cup olive oil

1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard

1/2 tsp thyme

1/2 tsp basil

2 garlic cloves minced

Mix all together in a jar

now take your wooden skewers and add:

sundried tomatoe

bocconi cheese cocktail size at Costco, or mini mini size at grocery store...(not pearl size too small)

olives

marinated mushrooms

Capicola salami ( I buy the mix pack from Costco)

Artichoke Hearts, quartered, ( not the marinated kind, just canned)

Fresh Basil

Cherry or grape tomatoes

proscuitto

sometimes I add pieces of gouda cheese too

You can put in any order you like, or add other things..I put fresh basil in twice...sometimes if you can't find the marinated mushrooms, take canned mushrooms and put in balsamic dressing.

Make the skewers and lightly drizzle dressing over them, and let marinate overnight...add more dressing if you think it is needed!
