If you like chutneys, bland peaches make a great base.
Our old tree produced the most insipid fruit so I had nothing to lose by trying old grandmother's recipe. I think I skipped the red pepper (probably a red Bell pepper being in Canada 90 yrs. ago or so.) We loved it as much as Major Grey's mango chutney.

Peach Chutney
5 lbs peaches (freestone type)
2 1/2 lbs apples (used pippins)
3 cups brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 whole clove garlic, minced
2 med onions, fine chop
1 oz. green ginger, grated (ginger root)
1 tsp red pepper, minced
1 tsp cloves

Simmer until a blended mass ~ 3-4 hrs.

Strawberry Peach Popsicles Recipe
3 cups fresh strawberries
3 whole peaches
2 cups lemonade

Remove stems from strawberries and cut into small chunks.
Remove the pits and skin from peaches and cut into small chunks.
Combine lemonade and most of the peaches and strawberries in blender.
(Reserve a few of the fruit chunks whole for later)

Blend the mixture until it achieves a smooth consistency.
Fill popsicle molds with the blended fruit mixture and a few chunks of reserved fruits.
Freeze molds for several hours. Should make at least six 4 oz. popsicles.
