| I had never tried dumplings before trying this, and thought they might be glue-y. To my delight they were fluffy and soft, and so easy!
Can anyone think of a garnish or herb to go with this? Serves 4-6 2 cups S.R flour
SAUCE
Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a large mixing bowl. Rub butter in with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs (or in a food processor). Stir in buttermilk, mixing well until a firm dough is formed. Form into 12 ball shapes.

| What's SR flour? Is that 3/4 cup caster sugar? I brought golden syrup back from London so this will be something I'll try. I can't think of an herb to go with this since it's sweet. |
