| I made peach jam the other day called spicy peach jam used no pectin
peaches cut up cinnamon stick lemon juice cardamon nutmeg really tasted good so was wondering if I could use the same recipe for pear jam just substituting pears for peaches then got to thinking would it be too spicy and over power the pear taste... thoughts? ideas? recipes? pears usually seem somewhat mild so would like to up it a bit sheila |

| I haven't tried your suggestion, but this recipe from the Country Women's Cookbook (NSW Australia) might appeal to you: PEAR MARMALADE 6lb pears Cut up lemon and oranges finely. Put into a bowl, cover with the water and leave overnight. |
