LOOKING for: bulgur with chickpeas

I had a so-simple recipe for bulgur with chickpeas that I made often years back, but I lost it. It came from a free magazine given out by a health food store.

Online, everything I can find has tomatoes and feta. (the same recipe repeated on many different sites) Mine was cooked in chicken broth, mostly, but I can’t recall what spices were in it. The bulgur was sauteed in olive oil first, until lightly browned. Then simmered in chicken broth, with the mystery spices. The chickpeas were added at the end.

This sounds very good..I might try it using cumin as the spice. Do you bruise the chick peas a little or leave them whole?

The chickpeas are whole.
