LOOKING for: Tried and True Ginger Salad Dressing

I am desperate (yes, I do become desperate for good recipes) for a ginger salad dressing that tastes as good as the one they serve in Japanese restaurants. Thank you in advance for your help.

I have been enjoying this one since it was posted by Linda in Tennessee in 2001. It's best if added just before serving.

BENIHANA GINGER SALAD DRESSING

1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup peanut oil
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 Tbs. water
2 Tbs. minced fresh ginger
2 Tbs. minced celery
2 Tbs. ketchup
4 tsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed for about 1 minute or until all of the ingredients are well pureed.

Thank you, that one sounds like it would be good. I will try it asap.
