| I have everything for a veggie tray tomorrow, radishes, broccoli, red and green peppers, sugar-snap peas, carrot and celery sticks. My supermarket was out of Marzetti's Southwestern dip? I bought Bison French onion. What can I add to make it southwestern. I do have frozen jalapenos. What spices can I add as I have all kinds.
I know someone out there can help me out. Thanks Loads |

| I've never done it before, but I would think some salsa may do the trick. You could also add some chopped black olives. Or, if you mix cream cheese and salsa together and melt it, it makes a pretty good dip. You could forget about the onion dip altogether and just try that. Or, serve both....the onion dip as is and the other... a cheese and salsa dip. |

| Carla, Thank you for the suggestion. I do the salsa and Velveeta cheese often. I'll try it with the creme cheese. I went to Wegman's this morning and could not find the Marzetti's with the other dips. I tracked down the manager and found it in the vegetable isle. DAH. I bough the dill and the southwestern. When I lived in Florida, all the dips were in the dairy. Thanks for the suggestion. Shirley |
