RECIPE: frozen cheese cake

Posted by debb28 (My Page) on

My mom made this wonderful frozen cheese cake recipe when we were kids. I want to make this recipe, but it's made with raw eggs. These days, we're told not to use raw eggs, so I'm a little concerned. What do you think? (My husband would flip since he won't even eat raw cookie dough.) But anyway, this is a yummy recipe and great in this hot weather. Is there any alternative to use?

Thanks!
Deb

Eggbeaters (or similar products) is a pasteurized egg product, so it is safe to use in uncooked dishes. I've been using it lately to make homemade, salt-free mayonnaise. You could try it and see if it works.
